No Title.

Yes, I do read all the comments, and yes, I did delete some spam. I don't want to waste my time to delete most spam, but I deleted some.

I'm sorry for not releasing the browser. I have other things on my mind right now. I will give another developer some rights to post on this blog as soon as she has time.

PS: I might send the NDS file to some people, but I'm still thinking about that. They will let you know if it's fake or not.

  • If it's real, you would have just released it as "alpha" or something...it does not take long to upload a file..in fact, it only takes a couple seconds, then the computer does the rest of the work :-P

    Anyways, for example, dragonminded released a quick alpha of his web browser built into dsorganize and just stated that there were absolutely no garentees for it and that it was buggy.

    Can't wait till April 1st ^^

  • you can continue the run around or release it, the time it takes you to post on this site you could easily get it hosted. I think it's time to get real. You took all the time to delete posts and such but just to stifle these people you couldn't post the Browser.

  • Please you guys, I am begging you. Stop asking for it, I'm sorry to say this but it's not real. I don't really believe any of you comprehend the magnitude of coding an internet browser for the DS. This is an extremely difficult task and would require a person with extreme coding talent, persistence, and determination. Through reading Gnirfleo's past blogs you can start to draw a picture of his\her coding and understanding of basic HTML code. A mildly sane person would release this as soon as possible, since it took so much of their time to develop. He has failed on multiple occasions to provide: evidence that it exists, an excuse for holding back the release date, and an example of the way in which it functions. I seriously doubt that Gnirfleo could squeeze out one line of basic C++ code. Please guys, I don't want you to get upset when April 1st rolls around and you all become disappointed.

    1. Why make a private beta? If you're going to release it, release it to the public so we can help you make it better.

    Thats rich, this post should go down as one of the dumbest things ever posted. I have no idea how you have managed to justify that this browser is real and Okiwi isn't. Okiwi has given us way more than Gnirfleo.

    What do you get when you go to Gnirfleo? 100% pure nothing (I know that may be hard for you to grasp) Okiwi has at least given us something tangible. It may not be a working Browser but at least hes done something more than sling BS like this person has. I think you need to repay his site a visit and look it over. That or get your head outta your ass. You also may not have as much trouble with nagging if you knew how to spell.

  • Hey guys, STOP harassing Gnirfleo.
    The browser's for real.

    I am one of the few which gnirfleo sent the NDS file to. How? I NEVER talked shit about him, and gave him trust as all of you should have done since the beginning.
    Gnirfleo does this in his free time, so stop whining. If you wanted a browser that badly, you should have coded it yourself.

    BTW, the browser's almost fully functional: there are minor bugs in pages which use particular javascript functions, but i can surely compare it to an early release of mozilla (except for tabbed browsing). Big images tend to slow down loading, but that was expectable.

    To those who still think Gnirfleo is fake:

    Why should it be? I mean there are a lot of other ways to fool people. Creating a fake homebrew NDS browser isn't really the first thing that comes to mind. Besides, there are currently some other homebrew browsers being made. So if it was fake, people would just go download another one. Also, the blog started in october 2006. I don't think anyone would spend so much time on a april 1st joke.

    Some people are just to stupid to understand that some people are actually willing to spend their time for others. Why? It's called self projection. They are the kind of people that wouldn't do anything for others if they don't get anything out of it.

    But: There are still LOADS of people in this world that you CAN trust. Take for example one of the other homebrew browsers, Okiwi: It's alpha version was delayed for a very long time. People started saying it was fake too. But it got released and turned out to be a program with great potential.

    So stop saying it's fake cause there is no way you can possibly know that.

    I think that, unlike most of here, you made quite a good 'joke' with all this homebrew browser thing.
    Let's face it - most people should by now have figured out that your 'homebrew browser' never actually existed. Nobody ever knew you as a dev, you dont show up in forums or irc channels, you never talk dev-specific stuff, your screenshots look very much fake like and of course you still havent released anything, yet you have the time to write new entries and read every single comment of 1000+. Yeah.

    I would like you to be interviewed. No, seriously. I think your joke was simple, but almost genious. Fooled A LOT of people, just with some few blog entries and some faked pictures. When you're done and you tell everybody that all you've told was never done, im guessing a lot of people would like to know your reasons, personal feelings etc. Your plot thickens, so its not much time left till the whole thing blows up. But still I think it ain't right to scold at someone about something you don't even know yet.You're right, they shoudn't have made a release date if they weren't sure if they would be able to release it on that date.   • 96 characters and it freezes? That's seems like a weird limitation, but at least it's divisible by 16. Probably not a big issue though, just need to change the dimension size when declaring the string.
