Hello, i had a very intesting idea, the psp has a software that is called pspWxp that is a port of windos vista on the psp. It basicly uses webpages that allow it 2 port vista. However in order to do this the web browser has to be able to open html files taht are located on the memory card. I was wondering wether this web browser will be capable of opening a html file that is located on the memory card. If it can that would be wonderfull and with some other modifications a very cool port of windows vista can wrk on the ds. The bloggers on here are unreal. The Opera browser needs an extra ram pack to work and they thinks they can play videos, download apps, run flash, open pdf and run windows vista! with a homebrew browser in a slot1 device. Come on! a powerful pc struggles to do this! The best you are gonna get is a browser as good as the Opera one. All I can say is good luck to Gnirfleo and Okiwi, but don't hope for too much.

One last thing, how can you rewrite CF cards over and over again without wearing them out? I know the card would last A LOT longer if you set up a 200 MB file, or something like that, and then write around the file in loops, so the writing would be distributed. Looks amazing though!

If you want to add MP3 and Vorbis playback, there's two decoders that work very well on the ARM9. For MP3, libmad, and for Vorbis, Tremor. If you need additional help, I suggest you download the Moonshell plugin SDK and base your work off that, since it contains both decoders and appropriate makefiles for the NDS. There is an open source, fixed-point WMA decoder in the Rockbox project, but it is far too slow to use.

What PC are you running that you have a hard time getting that stuff to run. I think it may be time to trade in that P2 you have. Besides this is a browser, not an OS. Simple playback and options that the Opera one doesn't have would be good enough.

yes pictures, since you have been able to post something using to program on your ds, it shouldn't be too hard to start the rom again, take your camera, and take a picture of it.
Unless ofcourse your a cheat and you and the okiwi guy are trying to make the people believe as long as you can that you are really making this program. Do you have somekind of sponsor who pays you whenever somebody is on you website? (rhetorical question.)
guys when i read on wiki, i read that the nintendo ds is SLIGHTLY BETTER than the Nintendo 64. well till this day no one has ever, even try to emake a N64 emulator for the DS. well ok i will get over that. But what suprises me is that no one has EVER think of emulating the playstation one for the ds so far whish is really suprising because the ds is far powerful than the ps oneso i see no reason for that so what did you guys think? huh?
a console need to be 7 times most powerful than the console to be emulated... ds is not 7 times mos powerful than psone... its the reason of no emulator...

i disagree with you. you can emulate it by making a patching program that will patch the ps one gmaes reducing the frame rate and just sort of things like that that will make it compatible with the ds duhhh

valentine, why do you stray off subject? you fill this thing with useless posts... plus you are completely lacking in the knowledge of emulation and proccessing... the deepest i will go into it is this:
the reason you cant patch a PS one game is because the PS one games NEED(underline underline) a certain amount of proccessing power. Even with the over-clock mod, you won't have enough power.
anyways, less than a month to go everyone!! I cant wait! lets see here... 2 more days in this month, and 24 more next month (well, estimated.. not exactly), so 26 days left to go!! WHOO HOO!
please post some shots of this working on a ds, pleaseeee =)
PS: the PS1 has a 33mhz MIPS CPU, the ds has a 67mhz ARM9 (with 3d) CPU, and a 30mhz ARM7 (without 3d)CPU... or best, the emulator parameters can run on ARM7 and the images on ARM9, but it is 2X better than the MIPS, so, the emulaton will be really slow.... 3fps is good to you? xD

What PC are you running that you have a hard time getting that stuff to run. I think it may be time to trade in that P2 you have. Besides this is a browser, not an OS. Simple playback and options that the Opera one doesn't have would be good enough.

yes pictures, since you have been able to post something using to program on your ds, it shouldn't be too hard to start the rom again, take your camera, and take a picture of it.
Unless ofcourse your a cheat and you and the okiwi guy are trying to make the people believe as long as you can that you are really making this program. Do you have somekind of sponsor who pays you whenever somebody is on you website? (rhetorical question.)

guys when i read on wiki, i read that the nintendo ds is SLIGHTLY BETTER than the Nintendo 64. well till this day no one has ever, even try to emake a N64 emulator for the DS. well ok i will get over that.
But what suprises me is that no one has EVER think of emulating the playstation one for the ds so far whish is really suprising because the ds is far powerful than the ps oneso i see no reason for that

a console need to be 7 times most powerful than the console to be emulated... ds is not 7 times mos powerful than psone... its the reason of no emulator...

The NDS has a 32bit processor. The N64 a 64Bit. That means that emulation would be VERY heavy.

valentine, why do you stray off subject? you fill this thing with useless posts... plus you are completely lacking in the knowledge of emulation and proccessing... the deepest i will go into it is this:
the reason you cant patch a PS one game is because the PS one games NEED(underline underline) a certain amount of proccessing power. Even with the over-clock mod, you won't have enough power.
anyways, less than a month to go everyone!! I cant wait! lets see here... 2 more days in this month, and 24 more next month (well, estimated.. not exactly), so 26 days left to go!! WHOO HOO!

PS: the PS1 has a 33mhz MIPS CPU, the ds has a 67mhz ARM9 (with 3d) CPU, and a 30mhz ARM7 (without 3d)CPU... or best, the emulator parameters can run on ARM7 and the images on ARM9, but it is 2X better than the MIPS, so, the emulaton will be really slow.... 3fps is good to you? xD
